Over The Farmers Gate Campsite

Pitches: 10 Opening Dates: Open All Year Our site is level with trees and hedges surrounding it for peace and seclusion. The Wye valley walk runs along the hill just behind the site with cycle route 81 passing the gate. There are lovely walks close by with access to the river for fishing or just to relax by. We are also right in kite country, with kite feeding centre only a short drive way. The Elan valley reservoirs are within 12 miles and the Clywedog dam for fishing and sailing similar. Dogs are welcome with plenty of space to be let off leads for a good run. The dark sky is a stargazers delight. Campers are well catered for with toilets, showers and a chemical disposal point to make their stay as comfortable as possible Fees range from £5 per unit per night to £9 per unit per night. Electric is available for a charge too.
