Why campers love it here
About this site
Owl Valley Glamping is a small, glamping-only site tucked into a secluded valley about a mile from Bideford in North Devon, offering a handful of characterful stays rather than pitches for your own tent. Accommodation runs to a Short Eared bell tent sleeping four, a Long Eared geodome sleeping six, and two timber cabins, the Barn Owl and the Tawny, sleeping four and five, all with proper beds. The appeal is peace and nature: birdsong, wild flowers and a quiet valley setting made for switching off, so it suits couples and families after a calm short break rather than campers wanting a lively park or their own pitch. Being glamping only, there is no tent, caravan or motorhome camping here, and the site does not accept dogs, which is worth knowing before you book. Bideford's shops, quay and the Tarka Trail are close by, and the North Devon coast at Instow, Westward Ho! and Appledore is a short drive for beaches and estuary walks. Owl Valley is booked directly through the site's own online reservation system, where you can check availability and current prices for each bell tent, geodome and cabin.
