Pitches: 40 Opening Dates: 27th March 2020 -october Half Term Philpin Farm Campsite is a small quiet site set on a family run hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales nestled between Ingleborough and Whernside 2 of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. It is 5 miles from the nearest village of Ingleton and 2 miles from Ribblehead Station and viaduct on the famous Settle to Carlisle line It is a small 2 tiered sites with areas at the bottom and top of a small hill, the car park is adjacent to the top area as no cars are allowed on the camping field. We have just added a new Toilet and shower block for 2016 which also includes washing up facilities The old barn is available to sit eat and socialise in if required Barbeques allowed if raised off the ground strictly no fires At weekends Philpin Snack bar is open in the barn Available on request to purchase on the Campsite are; ¥ Cooked breakfasts and packed lunches ¥ Homemade cakes ¥ Socks, gloves, hats and rain ponchos. We have strict no noise policy between 11pm and 7am Limited mobile reception ask to use landline in emergencies You will like our site if you like walking and the great outdoors there are lots of walks from the campsite from easy strolls or climbing the three peaks (Ingleborough, Whernside or Penyghent) also rock climbing and caving nearby
