A short drive away from the beauty of the Lake District National Park, Walney is rich with scenery and nature of its own right. The caravan park offers family-friendly facilities for static and touring caravans including: Licensed Clubhouse Indoor Heated Swimming Pool Sauna Bowling Green Children's Play Area Tennis Court The indoor, heated swimming pool, which is free to caravanners, has a toddlers area which is overlooked by a covered veranda, making it very family friendly. The Sauna* provides the perfect place to relax after a night in the licensed clubhouse, where regular entertainment includes discos, bingo and Play Your Cards Right with live music and childrens entertainersin High Season. The outdoor play area is suitable for kids of all ages, with award-winning play equipment for toddlers to teens. Rainy days arent a problem either - we have a funky childrens room with large TV, pool tables and a selection of video games. The grown-ups arent neglected either - our over 25s lounge/snooker room provides a haven for those who want a quiet chat or a bite to eat. *There is a charge for the use of the Sauna - which needs to be booked at least one hour prior to use.
