Strawberry Hill Farm Camping And Caravanning Park

Pitches: 30 Opening Dates: 01/03 To 31/12 Overlooking magnificent views in open countryside just 4 miles East of Durham City. We opened the park in 2002 so all our facilities are relatively new. Our shower block has heating with free hot showers and we have a fully equipped shower room for visitors who are not quite as able bodied as others. Our laundry is equipped with a washer, dryer, spin dryer, iron and ironing board. The washing up area is under cover. As you would expect we have gas exchange, freezer pack facility and a small shop supplying basic groceries and camping supplies. The shop also houses the reception area with plenty of tourist information on display. We have worked hard to make the park environmentally friendly. This year alone we have planted 200 rose trees! Initially we planted over 2000 trees and shrubs to protect and enhance the natural environment. We have a fleet of three 6-berth holiday homes available for hire which are fully equipped for that home from home experience! This accommodation has a tourist board Rose Award for standards of excellence. Minimum let is for 2 nights.
