Stylemans Bungalow Certificated Site

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. This is an adults only site Pitches: 5 Vans + Tents Opening Dates: April To October This is a two acre rural site situated on the banks of the lovely River Stort but within a 15 minute walk into the town centre. It is a handy site for persons wishing to fly out of/into Stansted airport (even leaving their vehicle with us whilst they are away). It is an ideal place for canoeists, cyclists and walkers exploring the river to camp. Particularly walkers as it is situated on the Hertfordshire Way long distance footpath. It is a good stopping-off place for ferry travellers coming or going to Harwich. You can fish from the banks of our site if you wish and it has been known for us to lend out a rowing boat for those wanting a bit of exercise on the river. It is a slightly sloping site and we have had a few problems with large vehicles getting stuck when the land is wet so we prefer smaller vehicles.
