Run alongside a 35-acre family plant nursery at Bromeswell near Woodbridge, Swanns Nursery Certificated Site is a Camping and Caravanning Club CS pitched in a quiet field with long views over a green corner of Suffolk. The River Deben and a small forest are both within walking distance, Woodbridge itself is about 2 miles away, and the Sutton Hoo burial mounds sit under 2 miles from the gate. The Club lists 3 level acres taking 5 caravans or motorhomes plus up to 10 tents, with grass pitches available with or without electric hook-up and a designated dog walk on site. You must be a Camping and Caravanning Club member to book, and the Club's facilities list for the site does not include a toilet block, so vans carrying their own facilities are the natural fit and tent campers should ask what is available before they commit. The nursery next door is the real bonus: it opens 7 days a week, and its Wild Blackberry Café serves breakfast and lunch until 3.30pm, though dogs are welcome in the café only and not among the plants. Swanns Nursery Certificated Site is open all year, from £12 a night for members, booked through the Club or by ringing the nursery at Bromeswell in Suffolk.
