The Eels Foot Inn Certificated Location is a five van Caravan and Motorhome Club CL sitting behind a village pub at Eastbridge, a mile or so from the reserve at RSPB Minsmere. Eastbridge is a hamlet on the Suffolk Heritage Coast: the beach and sluice at Minsmere are roughly two miles away on foot across the marsh, Leiston is about two and a half miles by road, and Dunwich, Aldeburgh and Southwold are all within a short drive. As a Certificated Location it takes a maximum of five caravans or motorhomes and you need to be a Caravan and Motorhome Club member to stay. The plot runs to about half an acre with 16 amp electric hook-up and recycling, and facilities are basic rather than lavish, so if you want a full service park with a launderette and a play barn, this is not it. What you get instead is quite possibly the shortest walk to the bar in Suffolk. The Eel's Foot serves food seven days a week, is well known locally for its live folk sessions, and the woodland walks and marsh footpaths start a few steps from your pitch. Dogs are very welcome, on the site and in the pub.
