The 5-pennant park was voted overall winner of the Top 100 sites award by the readers of Practical Caravan for 2015 and 2016 and best site for families in 2017. It has also been voted Campsite of the Year for the South East by The AA and is again an AA 5 pennant park in 2018. We have been awarded 20 gold David Bellamy awards for conservation. The West Wight has walking,cycling,nature reserves, sandy beaches, rugged coastlines, historical buildings and pretty villages to explore. There are also 64 holiday caravans situated in a separate area, carefully arranged among trees and shrubs, and connected by pathways. There are 4 and 6 berth caravans to suit your requirements all fully fitted out with crockery, cutlery, TV, video, bathrooms, showers rooms etc. Most have central heating and double glazing. Our Roxbury's have patio doors leading onto a decking area with outdoor furniture. There are 160 marked allocated pitches aranged in 3 paddocks.Some terraced, some hardstanding and some grass. All have amazing views. Our facilities include a heated, Indoor pool and poolside coffee shop, open all season, outdoor heated pool, ( late May to early Sept), shop, takeaway, TV room pool table, table tennis, play areas and dog walking area. The impressive Facilities Centre has some of the best touring facilities in the country.Including a laundry, with washing and drying machines and an ironing area. Washing up area, family bathroom and family shower room, disabled bathroom and shower room. All with the luxury of underfloor heating. Online booking available on own website. WiFi available at a small cost. The no 7 bus stops at the entrance to the site every hour going to Yarmouth and Newport, where you can catch connecting buses. Book as a Package Deal (includes Ferry)We can always get cheaper ferry prices, or on a Non-Packaged Basis. Wi-Fi is available. There is a large Co-op at Freshwater and a supermarket at Yarmouth.
