About this site

Pitches: 5 Caravans & 20 Tents Opening Dates: Open All Year The Paddock at Redcliffe Farm is a new small site (one acre) located between Filey (2m south) & Cayton Bay half a mile north. You DO NOT need to be a member of caravan & camping club to stay here. The site has a slight rise which is perfect for views of the Wolds & rolling fields across the East Coast. We now have full shower facilities, wash handbasins, flushing toilets & a dish washing sink. Our new hot water system ensures showers are warm & reliable, electric hookups are also available to use, we have 12 at present. Drinking water & CDP are provided as well. We now have a 10m x 8m Glamping pitch which now houses a luxurious & spacious 6m bell tent. This is on a levelled patio area ideal for barbecues and toasting marshmallows over the provided fire(pit) & sitting out & enjoying the breath taking views of the rolling hills in a peaceful & tranquil environment. The bell tent comes complete with, full electrics, bedside lamps, fairy lights, bunting, double bed with sprung mattress (no airbeds) double futon sofa / bed. Additional mattress are also provided and the tent comfortably sleeps 8 adults. The Bell tent has rugs, a fridge toaster kettle, no cuddly toys, cutlery, towels & duvets on request, breakfast and evening meal can be arranged if required. The Paddock at Redcliffe Farm, is well placed for holiday amenities. Filey is 2miles away & Cayton Bay is within 20 mins walking distance (less than half a mile )from site. There is a traffic free cycle path leading directly to Cayton Bay Beach & continues onto a quiet cycle / walk way into Scarborough Town. Close-by are beautiful Cliff top walks over looking Cayton Bay, with Public Paths joining the Cleveland Way. Next to the site,is a Farmshop & Bakery selling local produce, a Licensed Restaurant/Cafe with childrens play area & small animal petting farm. The location is perfect for a quite break with the children, a relaxing walk with the family & or dog. Cayton Bay is a peaceful beach & has a surfing school & centre for committed surfers & those wishing to learn. The area is a well established holiday resort with both Filey & Scarborough close by.
