About this site

On the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Thornbrook Barn Caravan Site is a 42 pitch touring park for caravans, motorhomes and campervans on the edge of Ingleton in North Yorkshire, with 3 hot tub glamping lodges alongside and no tents taken. Every touring pitch is hard standing with a 16 amp hookup, awnings pitch free of charge, site wide wifi costs nothing, and serviced pitches add water and waste on the pitch, so tourers are properly looked after even though campers under canvas need to look elsewhere. The location does the heavy lifting: Ingleton village, with its pubs, cafes and independent shops, is a level stroll away, the entrance to the famous Waterfalls Trail is just over half a mile from the site, and the Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent are all within reach for a big day out. The 3 open plan lodges each sleep 2 adults and come with a private hot tub. Guests keep mentioning the spotless heated shower block, the beech hedging that gives pitches privacy and the helpful owners, and a hail and ride bus near the gate runs to Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and Skipton. Thornbrook Barn opens from 27 February to 1 November 2026, with standard pitches from £33 a night including electric and 2 people.
