Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 80 Opening Dates: 01/03 To 31/10 Town Farm is a camp site with stunning views over the Vale of Aylesbury and Ivinghoe Beacon. If you are looking for a campsite in the Chilterns, we have easy access to the Chiltern Hills. Town Farm is a working farm nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills and has been run by the Leach family since the early 1930s. About 1,000 sheep are farmed on the Beacon Hill and surrounding high ground, while the lower fields are used for crop cultivation. The Pick Your Own opens in June and is a short drive away. Guests can stock up on fruit and vegetables. The farm enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the local landmark - Ivinghoe Beacon, which marks the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk. On site facilities - Tennis Court, Wi Fi, play area, laundry facilities and Toilets and showers which were new in Spring 2010 and Easter 2012. We have now had to introduce a minimum stay of two nights on weekends from May to the end of August, due to high booking volume. We have also now minimised the number of pitches and guests staying on site, to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. Offsite facilities - Food shop - 1.1 miles to Masons, Pitstone or 4.2 miles to Tesco, Tring. Pub - 0.6 miles to the Rose and Crown in Ivinghoe Indoor Heated Pool - Tring 4.1 miles Golf Course - Ivinghoe Golf Club 0.7 miles
