Inland, you will find gentle, rolling countryside, which is accessible by public transport. The beach at West Runton is accessible from the clifftop car park. It's ideal for swimming and exploring rock pools. Both West and East Runton are quaint Norfolk fishing villages. The Norfolk Shire Horse Centre has several breeds of horses and a collection of wagons and carts. Worstead village gives its name to the woollen fabric woven by Flemish workers in the 14th century. Roman Camps, heaths and woodlands are managed by the National Trust. The seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer have many attractions. Each has a carnival week during the summer.
