About this site

This is an adults only site Pitches: 24 Opening Dates: Open All Year PLEASE PHONE VAL ON 01260 227219 OR 07539 262847 FOR BOOKINGS. ADULTS ONLY - £7 per person per night. DOG FRIENDLY - £1 per dog per night. PUB ON SITE - FREE HOUSE SELECTION OF BEERS, WINES AND SPIRITS - HOME COOKED FOOD WEEKENDS ONLY AND BY SPECIAL REQUEST - SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE MUSIC. A small, approximately 1 acre, private site for campers, caravanners, and motorhomes nestling in the foot hills of the Peak District. The campsite is located behind The Wild Boar Inn. Turning off the main A54 and passing through the pub car park you enter a second car park (allocated for hard standing pitches) through which the camping field is accessed via a gate. The camping field itself occupies a raised position and offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. The field is bordered by secure fencing beyond which is lush meadow farm land. The toilet block comprises 2 individual private shower rooms. For men there is a bathroom comprising toilet and wash basin, and for women a communal bathroom comprising 3 toilet cubicles and 3 wash basins. Other facilities include a water point, outdoor cold water dish washing area and waste discharge point. Fires are not allowed due to fire damage but raised BBQ's are welcome.
