Willowmere Caravan Park

Pitches: 32 Opening Dates: March To October Our small, quiet, well kept site sits in attractive surroundings of tree's, and neighboring lakes and mere's, in the valley of the River Stour in Constable Country. Cornard mere is next door, and is a small quiet haven for wildlife, which is cared for by the Suffolk wildlife trust. Our park is a level grass area suitable for tents, caravan, moter-homes, 24 of our 32 pitch offer electric hook-ups,and our well maintained toilet block and large showers earn us many compliments from visitors. We have a small fishing lake on site which you are free to fish at any time. The local pub is 400 yards from the site and serves food (The Brook Inn). The River Stour is 400 yards through open fields. There is a bus service to Sudbury or Colchester which stops at our gate. Sudbury itself is a market town (Thursday & Saturday) and various farmers markets throughout the year. There is a large library which houses the tourist information. Sudbury has a large park, Belle Vue, and not far from the town center is the Kingfisher Leisure Pool. Sudbury has its own theatre 'The Quay' puts on productions and shows films throughout the year. There is a bowling ally and 2 sports centers for different activities eg tennis, badminton. Great Cornard sport center half a mile from the site has an outside pool open in summer months.
