Woodhead Farm Caravan Site Certificated Location

This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only. Pitches: 5 CAMC Members Only Opening Dates: Open All Year Our CL site is on a small working farm in the idilic Eden Valley between the Lake District National Park and the outstanding Pennines. Adults and children are all welcome (no dogs allowed). There are hardstanding pitches with electrical hookups and space for an awning. There is a lovely modern ladies & gents shower/toilet block. The site is ideally situated behind a small wooded area up the farm lane, within easy reach from junction 41 of the M6. It is prefectly located for exploring the surrounding area with Lake Ullswater only 10 minutes away, Carlisle 15 minutes and Keswick & Kendal 30 minutes. Given its location it is an ideal stopover for breaking up journeys into Scotland. There is a small shop/petrol station within walking distance. The nearest pub is just over a mile away and the local town of Penrith is only 5 minutes away, which has all the local ammenitites such as a Cinema, leisure centre with pool, supermarkets, train station and an array of food establishments.
