The site sits at EX20 4NE, roughly 3 miles from Okehampton and a quarter of a mile from Ashbury Golf Course, with the Sourton turn off the A30 about five minutes away. Pitches are a mix of hardstanding and grass, all with 16-amp electric hook-ups, individual water taps, and chemical and grey water disposal. There is a toilet and shower, free WiFi across every pitch, ample parking and a fenced dog play area. It suits couples and small families touring in a caravan or motorhome who want a quiet Devon base rather than a busy entertainment park; with only five pitches and Club membership required, it is not the spot for large groups or tent campers turning up on spec. Spectacular Dartmoor views and grazing horses, sheep and geese give Ashbury Caravan Park a genuinely rural feel, and buses stop at the bottom of the lane for Okehampton, Exeter and the seaside town of Bude. Pitches cost £22 for one night and £18 per night for longer stays, plus metered electricity, with no charge for awnings and hot showers at £1 each.
