About this site

Beachside Holiday Park is a family run campsite, touring park and self catering holiday park set in the sand dunes at Phillack on the edge of Hayle in west Cornwall, with direct access to the beach at St Ives Bay. The sand runs for 3 miles from Hayle beach to Godrevy Point and its lighthouse, St Ives faces the park across the bay about 5 miles away by road, and Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary sits in Hayle itself. Campers and tourers choose from three pitch types: serviced pitches with electric, water, TV hook up and grey waste drainage, standard touring pitches with electric, and large tent pitches up to 5m by 9m. Dogs stay on selected pitches for £5 a night, with a maximum of two per booking. The park suits families and couples; large single sex groups are not accepted, and anyone wanting a quiet, back to basics pitch should look elsewhere, as the heated outdoor pool, playground, games room and summer evening entertainment keep things lively. Hayle Surf School runs lessons and board hire from the park between late March and October, and the Coast restaurant and bar serves food year round from its sea view terrace. Raised BBQs are allowed until 10pm, campfires and fire pits are not. The 2026 touring season runs from 28 March to 31 October, with pitch prices quoted through Beachside's online booking system.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Beachside Holiday Park?
Yes, dogs are welcome on selected touring pitches, large tent pitches and selected accommodation for £5 per dog per night, with a maximum of two per booking. Dogs must stay on a short lead around the park and are not allowed in the pool area, facility blocks, games room or playgrounds.
Can I have a campfire or BBQ at Beachside?
No, campfires, bonfires and fire pits are not permitted under any circumstances. BBQs are allowed provided they are raised off the ground so they do not scorch the grass, and they must be finished by 10pm. The park also asks guests to keep noise down between 10pm and 9am.
When is Beachside Holiday Park open in 2026?
The touring and camping season runs from 28 March to 31 October 2026. The heated outdoor pool and shop open from 2 May to 25 September, the Coast restaurant and bar trades year round, and evening entertainment runs on selected dates over the spring bank holidays and from 11 July to 28 August.
What types of pitch does Beachside offer?
Beachside offers three pitch types: serviced pitches with electric, water, TV hook up and grey waste drainage, standard touring pitches with electric hook up, and large tent pitches measuring up to 5m by 9m. Standard pitches take units up to 4m by 7m excluding the towbar, with room for an awning.
How much does a pitch at Beachside cost?
Pitch prices are quoted through Beachside's online booking system rather than published as a fixed tariff. Extras are listed clearly: additional adults cost £16 a night, children £8, extra vehicles £8 and dogs £5 per night. A £50 deposit secures a touring or camping booking in 2026.
How close is Beachside to the beach and St Ives?
The beach is directly accessible from the park through the dunes, and the sand stretches 3 miles from Hayle beach to Godrevy Point and its lighthouse. St Ives sits across the bay, about 5 miles away by road, and Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary is in Hayle itself.
