Why campers love it here
About this site
Beacon Fell View Holiday Park is a family run park set in 35 landscaped acres above Dilworth Upper Reservoir at Longridge, in the Ribble Valley north east of Preston. Most of what Beacon Fell View sells is accommodation rather than pitches: hired holiday caravans, a cottage and luxury glamping pods, on a park licensed for 419 caravans. It brands itself a holiday and touring park, but it publishes no touring pitch types, no tariff and no booking route for tourers, so if you want to bring a caravan or a motorhome, ring the park on 01772 783233 and confirm before you travel. Tents are not mentioned anywhere. The park was bought by Hill Brothers Residential and Leisure Parks in 2021 and has been under redevelopment since, with new landscaping, gates and a visitor centre planned. On site there is a heated indoor pool, capped at 40 swimmers at a time, the Quarry Inn and Ribble Valley complex with an adults only bar, a sports lounge and indoor soft play, an amusement arcade, a shop, a playground with an astroturf pitch, crazy golf and an indoor and outdoor gym. Dogs are welcome in certain units and in the tiled areas of the complex. The Ribble Valley views are the real reason to come. Hired caravans start from £23 a night.
