Why campers love it here
About this site
Beer Head Caravan Park is a family-run coastal park perched on the Jurassic Coast above Lyme Bay at Beer, near Seaton in south Devon. It stands right next to the South West Coast Path, minutes from Beer beach and the working fishing village of Beer, and has been run by the same family for over sixty-five years, now into its third generation. The touring and camping side is the reason to book: every designated pitch has a sea view, all pitches come with free electric, and there is no charge for dogs, awnings, gazebos or hot showers. Tents, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and touring caravans are all welcome, though the camping area is compact, with tent pitches measuring eight metres by five, so check the size before booking a large tent. There is also a chemical disposal point, Calor gas from reception and a freezer and microwave in the washing area. This suits couples and families who want clifftop sea views and coast-path walking rather than a big park with pools. There is no minimum stay even in high season. Book online, note your pitch number for late arrivals, and pack sturdy pegs, as the ground at Beer Head can be hard.
