Why campers love it here
About this site
Beryls Campsite is a rustic, spacious tents only site at Beeson, near Kingsbridge in the South Hams of south Devon. Opened by Drew and Beryl around thirty years ago and still family run, it has about 29 well spread pitches, so there is plenty of room and privacy, with some catching views and others offering shade or morning and evening sun. Electric hookups are available. Facilities are kept simple but generous: shower rooms and toilets in the barn, a washing up area, fridge and freezer space and an honesty shop, with fire pits available and wood sold for a small charge. Dogs are welcome. The site sits just back from the coast on the South West Coast Path, a walk of roughly 20 to 25 minutes down the lanes to Beesands and Start Bay. Because Beryls Campsite takes tents only, it will not suit caravan or motorhome owners. It opens from April to the end of September, a proper back to nature base in south Devon.
