Why campers love it here
About this site
Blackcock Inn Caravan Park, formerly Yeo Valley, is a touring site built around a working country pub on the edge of Exmoor. It sits at Molland near South Molton in North Devon, in a sheltered valley close to the Devon and Somerset border, roughly five miles from South Molton itself. There are around 65 touring pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and small campervans, most with 16amp electric hook-up and a number on hardstanding, plus five holiday caravans to hire between March and November. The draw here is the Black Cock Inn on site, a traditional pub with beams, log fires and real ales, where much of the produce comes from the site's own smallholding. Dogs are welcome and families are catered for, and there is an indoor pool. This suits campers who want a quiet rural base with a proper pub a few steps from the pitch, and Exmoor walking, fishing, golf and horse riding within reach. It is less suited to anyone after a large holiday-park setup with entertainment and shops. The park usually opens from April to the end of October. Book by phone, as there is no online booking, and check current pitch prices directly with the site.
