About this site

Blagdon Farm is an accessible holiday park and small working farm near Ashwater in north-west Devon, a few miles from the Cornish border and within reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and the beaches around Bude. Its focus is eight purpose-built lakeside lodges designed for disabled guests, with roll-in wet rooms, wide doorways, gentle ramps and level access throughout, and it has won recognition for that accessible design. Alongside the lodges there is a small caravan and camping site with hardstanding, all-weather and grass pitches, most with electric hook-up, so tents, caravans and motorhomes can stay too. Site guests share the accessible showers and toilets in the pool building, and there are chemical and grey waste points and mains water. On site you will find an indoor swimming pool open from Easter to late October, a 1.5-acre coarse fishing lake stocked with carp and other species, a games room and a woodland walk through the quiet Devon countryside. It suits families, anglers and anyone who needs genuinely accessible accommodation and facilities, and dogs are welcome. Blagdon Farm stays open all year, so it works for off-season breaks as well as summer. The park's website was being rebuilt at the time of writing, so booking is best confirmed by contacting Blagdon Farm directly.
