About this site

Bow Hill Farm Certificated Location is a five-pitch, adults-only caravan and motorhome site on a working farm in the South Downs National Park, north of Chichester in West Sussex. The site sits at East Marden near Funtington, laid out over two fields either side of a farm wildlife pond, with Chichester about a 15-minute drive away and the Goodwood estate around 10 minutes off. All five pitches are hardstanding, roughly 8 metres square, each with a 16 amp electric hook-up and a drinking water tap, which suits Caravan and Motorhome Club members touring in a caravan or motorhome and wanting a peaceful, no-frills stopover. It does not suit tent campers or families with children, since neither is accommodated. What sets Bow Hill Farm apart is the outlook: pitches look across the Downs towards Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, so you can watch the coastal lights come on at dusk, alongside sheep, horses and the occasional buzzard or red kite overhead. A footpath along the site boundary gives quick access to local bridleways, and the Royal Oak at Hooksway and the White Horse at Chilgrove are both within a mile for an evening meal. Bookings and prices run through the Caravan and Motorhome Club's own booking system.
