About this site

Brick Kiln Farm is an adults-only campsite on a one-acre hedged grass field outside the village of Campsea Ashe, in quiet Suffolk countryside and built around campfires and a firm no-music policy. Wickham Market is under two miles away, Woodbridge about six miles south west, and Sutton Hoo, the Suffolk coast and Aldeburgh all make comfortable day trips. Pitches measure 8m by 10m, enough for your tent and car, and tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome across Guy's Field and the Orchard area. There is no electrical hook-up anywhere on site, so if you need to plug in you should look at another park, and nobody under 18 stays here at all. What lifts Brick Kiln Farm above a plain field is the detail: a free fire pit on every pitch with wood and kindling sold on site, loos, showers and a kitchen in a converted stable block, an honesty shop, a marquee with tables and chairs, table tennis, pool and a reading and games hut. The village shop is ten minutes across the fields and The Duck pub about fifteen. Tina lives on site, which is why the quiet policy is more than a sign on a gate. The site was named best in the region for adult-only camping at the Camping and Glamping Awards in December 2023. Brick Kiln does not open all year, and every booking, prices included, goes through the operator's own online system.

Good to know

Are children allowed at Brick Kiln Farm?
No, Brick Kiln Farm is an adults only campsite and nobody under 18 stays, in tents, caravans or campervans. The operator states this plainly on the site FAQs. If you are camping with children in this part of Suffolk you will need to look at another park near Woodbridge instead.
Is there electric hook-up at Brick Kiln Farm?
No, there is no electrical hook-up anywhere on the site, and the operator confirms this for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans alike. Electric cool boxes that need plugging in are not permitted either. Plan for gas, leisure batteries or the shared fridge in the site kitchen.
Can you have a campfire at Brick Kiln Farm?
Yes, campfires are a big part of the place and every pitch has a free fire pit, with mobile fire pits available for the Orchard area. For safety reasons all wood and kindling must be bought on site. You help yourself and settle up when you leave.
Are dogs welcome at Brick Kiln Farm?
Yes, dogs are welcome at this Campsea Ashe site and are expected to be kept on a lead throughout. The operator FAQs note that one dog is covered by the pitch rate and a second dog carries a small nightly charge. There is a dog walking track close by.
What facilities are on site?
Loos and showers sit in a converted stable block and are free to use, alongside a kitchen with two sinks, kettle, microwave and a shared fridge freezer. You also get indoor and undercover seating, a marquee, an honesty shop, table tennis, pool and a reading and games hut.
How much does it cost and how do you book?
Prices are quoted through the operator's own online booking system rather than published on the website. All bookings are made online with a non-refundable deposit, with the balance due 14 days before arrival. Last minute and walk-in bookings are welcome by phone, text or WhatsApp.
