About this site

Burstye Farm CL is a one acre Caravan and Motorhome Club touring pitch on a small working farm with rare breed sheep, close to the village of Lindfield near Haywards Heath in West Sussex. The site sits on Ardingly Road within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wide views across farmland and the wooded Sussex Weald, and Haywards Heath station within five miles for a car-free day out. Burstye Farm suits caravan and motorhome owners after a peaceful, scenic base for garden visits to Wakehurst, Sheffield Park, Nymans and Borde Hill, or walkers heading onto footpaths that cross the farm towards Ashdown Forest. There is no electric hook-up, so it will not suit anyone reliant on mains power. There is a non-exclusive toilet on site, along with battery charging and an information room, and dogs are welcome with a dog walk from the site. What stands out is the setting among rare breed sheep and the sheer range of nearby days out packed into a small area of West Sussex, from the Bluebell Railway just up the road to Ardingly Reservoir for fishing and watersports. Club members only.
