About this site

Camper UK Leisure Park is a touring and glamping site wrapped around a well-stocked fishing lake at Swinethorpe, between Lincoln and Newark in the west of Lincolnshire. Run alongside the Camper UK motorhome dealership, the park has welcomed holidaymakers since 2010 and sits roughly 7 miles west of Lincoln and about 10 miles north east of Newark, with Whisby Nature Park and its lakeside walks only a few minutes away. You can pitch a touring caravan or motorhome, book one of four glamping pods (Dragonfly, Butterfly, Mayfly and Damselfly) or stay in a holiday lodge or cottage overlooking the water. The standout here is the fishing: a large lake holds common and mirror carp, including some notable specimens, and it is open to visiting anglers as well as guests. There is also a secluded rally area with water and Elsan points that clubs and groups can book ahead. Dogs are welcome, with up to two per pitch, and the surrounding lanes give easy dog walks. This is a calm, well-kept base for anglers, couples and families touring Lincoln, Newark and the Trent valley rather than a resort with bars and pools. The park is open all year, and pitches and accommodation are booked through the Camper UK Leisure Park website.
