Carney Pools Fishery

Pitches: 5 CCC certificated site, 8 private Opening Dates: 01/03 To 31/10 Welcome to Carney Pools The little friendly site is in the idyllic rural location of Wolseley Bridge and within easy walking distance to the two coarse fishing pools known as Carney Pools, but secluded enough to be private. There is open countryside with panoramic views towards Cannock Chase. Carney Pools is a haven for wildlife, you may see woodpeckers, goldfinches and the beautiful barn owl at this family site. Our wildlife pools are beautiful to look at and are pleasant to walk round. The caravan site is from 1st March to 30th October. There are five hard standings/grass pitches together with electric hook ups on the touring CL site. Our six acre field hosts eight electric hook ups, it is well fenced and free draining making it ideal what ever time of the year. It is nicely sheltered by a well grown hedge but open enough to catch the sun. It is an ideal field for rallies and events. Pitches are nicely spaced getting everyone ample room, so not to be crowded. We welcome dog owners. You can exercise your dog in the designated dog walk area or you may decide to explore one of the many footpaths/bridle paths. There is a canal walk under a mile away and a village pub which is dog friendly too! NEW for 2015 shower facilities, and accessible toilets close to the caravan site. We welcome coarse anglers for the new season, with pegs available on both pools at weekends especially Saturdays.
