Why campers love it here
About this site
Carnon Wollas Touring Park is an adults only (18+) caravan and motorhome park on a working arable farm at Carnon Downs, 3 miles southwest of Truro in Cornwall, with 25 fully serviced hardstanding pitches and far-reaching rural views. The park sits just off the A39 between Truro and Falmouth (about 6 miles away), with village buses to both, Perranwell station 2 miles away, Loe Beach at Feock around 3 miles, and the Devoran to Portreath coast-to-coast cycle trail starting a 30-minute walk away at Devoran. Every pitch has 16-amp electric, water and a grey waste drain, which makes the site a brilliant base for couples touring west Cornwall; it does not suit tents, trailer tents or anyone under 18, and there is no EV charging. Owners Dave and Ali still farm here (the family has held Carnon Wollas since 1956) and keep things properly tidy, with showers and toilets, a commercial washing machine and dryer, a 4-acre dog exercise field, and skies dark enough for genuine stargazing. Dogs stay free, two per pitch, on leads around the park. Raised BBQs are welcome (blocks are provided) but fire pits must be gas. The park opens April to 10 October, with pitches from £20 a night in April rising to £30 in high summer, booked online or by phone.
