Why campers love it here
About this site
Run by Andrew and Tracey, Chapelcombe Farm is a 20-pitch caravan and motorhome site with a view from every pitch, spread over two acres of a working smallholding at St Ann's Chapel, near Bigbury and Kingsbridge in South Devon. Once a five-van Certificated Location, it now runs independently and stays open all year, with part-grass, part-hardstanding pitches and an electric hook-up on each. Tents are not taken here. Facilities include toilets and showers, free WiFi, chemical waste disposal, and farm-gate extras such as freshly laid eggs and frozen beef and lamb packs boxed for the journey home. Dogs and even cats are welcome. The setting is the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the Pickwick Inn and a well-stocked shop both about 200 metres away, Bigbury golf course nearby, and the South West Coast Path and sandy beaches within reach; Kingsbridge is roughly eight miles off. Chapelcombe Farm suits caravanners and motorhomers who want big coastal views and a genuine farm welcome rather than tent campers or anyone needing a large touring park. The 2026 rate is £25 per pitch per night including electric, water, awning, one car and dogs.
