About this site

Cholwells Farm is a five-pitch Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location on a working farm at Woolston, sitting between Kingsbridge and Salcombe in the South Hams of Devon. The five generously spaced grass pitches each have an electric meter, and the site looks out over rolling fields where pheasants wander and kites nest. This is a members-only location that takes caravans and motorhomes but no tents, and there is no toilet or shower block, so you will need to be fully self-sufficient with your own facilities on board. Drinking water, chemical disposal, a motorhome service point and battery charging are provided, and TV reception is good. Dogs are welcome. The quiet setting suits couples and touring pairs after a calm rural base rather than families wanting on-site entertainment, and the coastline around Salcombe and the estuary walks of this corner of Devon are an easy drive. Cholwells Farm opens from April to October. Members book through the Caravan and Motorhome Club before arriving.
