Pitches: 20 Opening Dates: 01/02 To 31/12 We are a quiet site ideal as a base to explore the local area or just relax but with facilities (listed below). Our four-acre site is attached to a well-established fitness centre and event space and located close to the village of Barrow just a mile or so from the A14, 10 mins from Bury St Edmunds, 10 minutes from Newmarket and easy access to Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich. Barrow has two pubs both serving food and dog friendly, convenience stores, post office with cafe and a fish & chip shop. Included on site wifi, showers, outdoor games area, a campfire area, and a bar. Facilities also available - hairdresser, archery, assault course, hot drinks/snacks machine There is the option of a daily Gym membership which is open 24 hours a day or visit the next door assault course, fire a few arrows at the archery club. Activities are offered at additional cost and mostly suitable for adults or older kids; away from these, the site is simple, quiet and basic with no additional facilities for kids... just plenty of space to make your own entertainment, play or relax. Please note - we regularly host running events which start and finish at the camp site. You may find some movement from around 8am on these days. Events from 5K up to marathon are all available for you to enter.
