Chy Carne Holiday Park is a family-run campsite, touring park and holiday caravan park at Kuggar on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, a 10 minute walk from the sandy beach at Kennack Sands. The park has been run by the same family for 20 years and holds an AA 4 Pennant rating; the beach sits half a mile down the lane, the fishing cove at Cadgwith is about 2 miles away, and the South West Coast Path links Kennack Sands to Lizard Point and Kynance Cove. Pitching happens on grass across four areas: 89 electric pitches in the main touring field, the tiers and the camping field, plus 50 non-electric pitches in Kennack Field, each a minimum of 10 by 8 metres and many with sea views over Kennack Bay. There are no hardstandings, and some pitches slope slightly, so owners of big motorhomes should check before booking; two and three bedroom holiday caravans are there for anyone skipping canvas. Beyond the shower blocks, Chy Carne hires out fire pits, runs pizza nights in the school holidays, and keeps a shop, launderette, children's play area and free WiFi on site. Dogs are welcome for £5 to £6 a night, and the east beach at Kennack Sands takes dogs all year. The 2026 touring tariff runs from 9 May to 30 September, with non-electric pitches from £8 a night plus £6 per adult, decent value for coastal Cornwall.
