About this site

Lanyon Holiday Park is a family run touring park and campsite at Four Lanes near Redruth, open all year round, with a free heated indoor pool and hedged grass pitches in the west Cornwall countryside. The park sits between Cornwall's two coasts, so surf beaches are a short drive rather than a stroll: Portreath is 6.5 miles away, Godrevy 8.2 miles, and Lanyon publishes its own guide to 11 dog friendly beaches within 14 miles. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes run from 7 by 9 metre Silver pitches without electric, through hedged Gold pitches on grass or gravel, up to three types of double pitch (The Paddock, Gold Large and Gold XL) with twin 10 amp hook ups and space for two units, built for two families pitching together. It suits families and dog owners well; campers who want to walk to a beach from their tent should look nearer the coast. The free pool, the play park with its trampoline and sand pit, and the fire pit policy stand out: self contained fire pits on legs are welcome, and the park hires them out if you travel light. Dogs cost £4 a night, maximum two per pitch, with an off lead exercise paddock, and awnings, gazebos, pup tents and extra cars are free if they fit on your pitch. Open 365 days a year, with Silver pitches from £20 a night and Gold from £30 through the Redruth park's own booking system.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Lanyon Holiday Park?
Yes, dogs are welcome all season at £4 a night, with a maximum of two per pitch. Dogs stay on a lead around the park and on your pitch, and there is an off lead exercise paddock on site plus the park's own guide to 11 dog friendly beaches within 14 miles.
Can you have campfires or fire pits at Lanyon Holiday Park?
Yes, fully self contained fire pits on legs are allowed, and the park hires out fire pits if you do not own one. You need bricks under the pit to protect the grass, a filled fire bucket visible at all times, and every fire put out before bed.
When is Lanyon Holiday Park open?
Lanyon Holiday Park is open all year round, including winter. Its 2026 price list runs from 1 January to 31 December with low, mid and high season rates, so you can pitch up in any month; the busiest and priciest weeks fall between 10 July and 4 September.
How much does a pitch cost at Lanyon Holiday Park in 2026?
Touring and camping pitches start from £20 a night for a Silver pitch without electric in low season, rising to £34 in high season. Hedged Gold pitches with electric cost from £30 a night, and double pitches such as Gold Large, Gold XL and The Paddock run from £54 to £88.
Do pitches at Lanyon Holiday Park have electric hook-up?
Yes, most pitch types include electric hook up. Gold, Silver Plus and the double pitches all have electric, with The Paddock, Gold Large and Gold XL supplying two 10 amp connections each. Only the basic Silver pitches are non electric, which keeps them the cheapest option on the park.
How far is Lanyon Holiday Park from the beach?
Portreath beach is 6.5 miles from the park, with Godrevy at 8.2 miles and Gwithian at 11.2 miles. Lanyon sits between Cornwall's north and south coasts, and its dog friendly beach guide lists 11 beaches within 14 miles, including Perranporth, Praa Sands and Porthleven.
