Why campers love it here
About this site
Concierge Camping is a luxury touring park on the historic Ratham Estate at West Ashling, at the foot of the South Downs National Park near Chichester in West Sussex. The estate dates back to the 15th century and was a working farm until the 1990s, and its Grade II listed chapel and old water mill still stand among the 27 hardstanding pitches. Chichester is a short drive away, and the site sits well for reaching Brighton and Portsmouth too. Pitches come in three sizes, from 8 by 6.5 metres up to 14 by 6 metres for larger American style RVs, with hardstanding, 16 amp power, and fresh and waste water points included, and one awning or tent plus a vehicle allowed on each. Emperor pitches add a furnished safari tent with a log burner and kitchen for a glamping-style stay. Concierge Camping suits caravan, motorhome and RV owners wanting a properly serviced, dog-friendly pitch (up to three dogs are welcome) rather than campers after a simple tent-only field, since tents here are an add-on to a touring pitch rather than the main event. Reviewers consistently praise the boutique-standard washrooms and the hands-on owners. The park stays open all year, with heated washrooms and fire pits for cooler stays, and prices are quoted through its own booking system.
