Why campers love it here
About this site
Cosawes Park is an adults-only touring and camping park in a wooded 100 acre valley at Perranarworthal, Cornwall, just off the A39 midway between Truro and Falmouth. Falmouth and its beaches are about 6 miles south, Truro is about 6 miles north, and the Coast to Coast cycle trail starts at Devoran, roughly 2 miles away, with Trelissick Garden, one of Cornwall's best known National Trust gardens, a short drive further on. Tents, caravans and motorhomes get three pitch options: electric grass pitches, Premium gravel hardstandings, and fully serviced Premium+ pitches with water, a TV point and grey waste drainage on an illuminated bollard. The park is 18 plus, so under 18s cannot stay or visit, and there is deliberately no bar, clubhouse, pool or entertainment: brilliant for couples wanting peace, wrong for families or anyone after a lively evening. What stands out is the housekeeping as much as the quiet; campers rate Cosawes Park 4.8 out of 5 on Tripadvisor, with spotless heated shower rooms and the sheltered valley setting the recurring themes, and buses run to both Truro and Falmouth. Quiet, well behaved dogs are welcome on leads, with exercise fields to stretch their legs, and awnings and pup tents pitch up free. The park takes bookings for most of the year, with 2026 fees from £30 a night and pitch fees running from 3 January to 13 December through its online booking system.
