About this site

Built around a six-acre lake at Brandesburton, Dacre Lakeside Park is a lively family holiday park in East Yorkshire that pairs tent camping with glamping pods, shepherd's huts and holiday lodges. The camping field holds 35 pitches, with tents taken with or without electric hook-ups and a maximum tent size of six, served by a toilet and shower block with disabled facilities, laundry and a washing-up station. The lake is the heart of it, with kayaking, paddleboarding, pedaloes, windsurfing, sailing and fishing all on site. Away from the water you will find a clubhouse and bar, Bert's Pizzeria, a gelato kiosk, adventure golf, foot golf, tennis and bike hire, so there is plenty to fill a rainy afternoon. Dogs are welcome and the site is geared to families rather than adults chasing a quiet retreat, so expect activity and noise in the school holidays. Brandesburton sits inland between Beverley and the coast, with the Yorkshire Coast beaches at Bridlington about a fifteen-minute drive away. Dacre Lakeside Park opens for camping from 1 March to 31 October, with tent pitches from £30 a night. Lodges, pods and shepherd's huts can also be booked through the park.
