Devon Banks Caravan And Camping Park

This is an adults only site Pitches: 5 vans + tents Opening Dates: 1st April Until 31st October Devon Banks is a Dog friendly Caravan and camping park in North Devon. Campsite exclusively for adults (18+) who need a quiet place to relax. Described as a hidden gem it's a small family run hideaway with just 5 pitches hired out at anyone time. During summer months you can choose from Hard standing pitch with grass or all grass pitch all with option of electric hook up. At Devon Banks we always try to space our guests out for a bit more privacy. The campsite is located on the edge of Exmoor national park, you can see it from the grass pitches. Dogs are made very welcome at Devon Banks and you will find a fenced 3 acre paddock for off lead dog exercise (free to use) and a secure exclusive use field (charge to hire). Great Exmoor views. The campsite is full of nature, with wild flowers, bracken, Devon banks and a even a babbling brook where dogs can paddle. Listen to the sound of many species of birds, we have owls nesting and birds of prey. The caravan site is situated between Bratton Fleming and Challacombe and has stunning views over rolling hills. We are ideally positioned in a rural location yet within easy reach of North Devon attractions and towns. We are a quiet hideaway site 1000 feet above sea level, people come to us for peace and quiet, a time to escape the normal stresses of life. North Devon rolling hills all around us. If you're a Cyclist cycle 'route 3' is just down the lane, from here you can cycle for miles. The lanes around here see very little traffic and is very popular for cycling holidays and walking. Tarka trail also nearby. We are just 1.2 miles from Exmoor, if you love walking holidays then we are the ideal base in which to explore Exmoor. Quiet country lanes straight from the site. NOTE! We can only accommodate caravans and motorhomes no longer than 7.5m in length due to our rural lane and entrance. We have NO showers and Our toilet is a Swedish design compost toilet, looks like a normal toilet but uses no water or wood shaving. Please contact us for more details.
