About this site

Dobella Lane Farm is a small Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on a working farm near Rawcliffe, just outside Goole in East Yorkshire. As a Certificated Site it takes only five touring caravans or motorhomes at a time, along with a few tents, which keeps Dobella Lane Farm quiet, spacious and genuinely rural. This is a members-only club site, though you can usually join the Camping and Caravanning Club on arrival if you are not already a member. Pitches come as hardstanding near the farmhouse or grass among the greenery, with electric hook-up available, and the facilities are simple and honest: water points, an outside toilet and chemical disposal rather than a full amenity block. The setting is the flat, open farmland of the Vale of York, with Rawcliffe village around a mile away for a couple of pubs and a shop by the green. Its position pays off for touring, as York, Leeds, Sheffield and Hull all sit within about a 45-minute drive, and the M62 is close enough to make this a handy overnight stop on a longer journey. Dogs are welcome, and coarse fishing, golf and horse riding can all be found nearby. The site is open all year, so it works as a quiet base in East Yorkshire in any season.
