Drake House Certificated Location

Drake House Certificated Location is a five van, adults only caravan site on a working farm at West Bradford, near Clitheroe, best known for its Pendle Hill views and proper quiet. The site sits next to Drake House Wood in the Ribble Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with public footpaths running straight onto the fells from the gate. Clitheroe and its castle are about seven minutes away by car. All five pitches are hardstanding with 16amp electric hook up, a water tap and a grey waste drain of their own, and there is a toilet and shower block on site with no pay meters. This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, so you need to be a member to stay, and it takes caravans and motorhomes only. No tents, and no children either, so families should look elsewhere in Lancashire. Full fibre wifi reaches the pitches, which is rarer than it should be on a farm site this size, and two quiet dogs stay free. Drake House is open all year, though the owners close it when weather or site maintenance demands, and pitches are £30 a night for two adults.
