About this site

East End Farm is a family-run camping and touring site on a working farm at Garton on the Wolds, two miles from Driffield in the rolling Yorkshire Wolds. The site sits just off the A166, with long views over the wolds that David Hockney painted, and both the Wolds Way and the Way of the Roses cycle route pass close by. You get well-spaced grass pitches, several with electric hook-up, plus mega pitches for larger tents and a one-person minipitch, along with a rally field for group visits. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome, and a separate, quieter paddock is kept for adults only. Heated showers with changing areas, a pot wash and an accessible shower room keep the facilities sorted, and dogs are welcome with one dog included in the pitch price. Families get room to roam, and there are en-suite B&B rooms for grandparents or non-campers, with campers' breakfasts available if you order ahead. Bridlington's South Beach is about a 25-minute drive, and the stately rooms of Sledmere House are close for a day out. East End Farm is open all year, with grass pitches from £23 a night, £29 with electric hook-up, or £15 for a solo minipitch.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at East End Farm?
Yes, dogs are welcome and one dog is included in the standard pitch price. You can bring up to two, with a small charge for the second, and because chickens and livestock graze the neighbouring fields, dogs must be kept on a lead and under close control on site.
Does East End Farm have electric hook-ups?
Yes, several of the grass pitches at East End Farm come with an electric hook-up. Pitches with power cost a little more than the standard grass rate, and larger mega pitches with hook-up are available for bigger units, so mention your setup when you book.
When is East End Farm open?
East End Farm is open all year, so you can pitch up in any season. The Yorkshire Wolds are quiet and scenic in autumn and winter, and the heated showers make cold-weather stays more comfortable. Booking ahead is wise for summer weekends and bank holidays.
What pitch types does East End Farm offer?
East End Farm offers grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, including mega pitches for larger tents and a one-person minipitch. There is also a rally field for group visits and a separate adults-only paddock for a quieter stay.
How much does it cost to stay at East End Farm?
Grass pitches at East End Farm start from £23 a night, rising to £29 with electric hook-up and £34 for a mega pitch with power. A solo minipitch is £15 a night, and each pitch price includes two adults, one vehicle, one dog and an awning.
What is there to do near East End Farm?
Plenty. The Wolds Way and the Way of the Roses cycle route pass close by, Bridlington's South Beach is about a 25-minute drive, and Sledmere House is nearby. Driffield's shops and pubs are two miles away for supplies and a meal out.
