Why campers love it here
About this site
Farmhouse Caravan & Camping sits on a working farm at Small Dole, near Henfield, inside the South Downs National Park in West Sussex, with wide views across the Downs from a quiet site well away from main roads. Farm footpaths lead straight up to the South Downs Way, and a woodland nature trail, the River Adur and Woods Mill nature reserve are all a short walk from the pitches. Shoreham beach is five miles off, Devil's Dyke another five, and Brighton and Worthing sit about ten miles away in each direction, so Farmhouse works as a base for touring both East and West Sussex. Pitches take tents, caravans and motorhomes, and a village shop, post office, pub and children's play area are all close by. This is a genuine working farm, so children get to see real animals day to day, which makes it a good match for young families, though anyone after a big leisure complex with a pool and clubhouse should look elsewhere. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead throughout the stay. The site opens from March to November, weather permitting, closing over the depths of winter like many small farm sites. Pitch prices are quoted through the site's own booking system.
