Why campers love it here
About this site
Fountain House Farm is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on a working farm at Watton, in the East Yorkshire countryside between the market towns of Driffield and Beverley. The site has been running since 2000 and takes up to five caravans or motorhomes plus a handful of tents, and it is a Club members-only site, though you can usually join on arrival. Pitches have electric hook-ups, and there are flushing toilets, drinking water and chemical disposal on site, but note there is no shower block, so this suits self-contained tourers and campers happy without one. Families are well looked after here: children can meet the friendly sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens, there is a small playground, and a woodland conservation walk runs from the farm. Glamping pods are also available to hire if you are arriving without a caravan or tent. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead around the livestock. Fountain House Farm opens from Easter to October, and its quiet rural setting puts Driffield about 3 miles north and Beverley within a short drive, with the coast at Bridlington reachable in around half an hour. Pitch prices are confirmed with the farm on booking.
