Why campers love it here
About this site
Gatewick Farm is a five-pitch Certificated Location for caravans and motorhomes on a working farm just outside Steyning in West Sussex, registered with the Caravan and Motorhome Club rather than run as an open-to-all campsite. The pitches sit under a mile from Steyning on a level grass field backing onto open farmland, with grazing animals visible for much of the year and the market town's shops, pubs and leisure centre a short walk or drive away. All five pitches are generously sized with their own electric hook-up and drinking water, three of them hardstanding, and there is an on-site caravan supplies shop open six days a week for gas, chemicals and other essentials. Gatewick Farm suits Club members after a quiet, small-scale stopover on a working farm rather than campers without a caravan or motorhome, since it takes no tents and access is restricted to members booking through the Club. It works as a peaceful short stay or a base for exploring Brighton, Worthing, Chichester and Arundel. Latest arrival is 8pm and departure is by noon. You need Caravan and Motorhome Club membership to view full directions and book, and pricing runs through the Club's own system rather than an open website.
