Globe Vale Holiday Park is a 20-acre touring park and campsite near Redruth, open all year, with views over rolling fields towards St Agnes Beacon and its own pub on site. The park sits at Sinns Common just off the A30, putting both Cornish coasts within a 20-minute drive; the lifeguarded beaches at Portreath and Porthtowan are about 4 miles away. Pitches range from fully serviced hardstandings with 16-amp electric, water and drainage to premier grass pitches and tent pitches in three sizes, alongside two- and three-bedroom holiday caravans and a couples-only Spa Lodge with its own spa bath and sauna. The Shaft Inn, the park's bar and restaurant, serves Cornish beers and food year round, and there's a shop, laundrette, play park and dog exercise area too. Fire pits are welcome as long as they're raised off the ground, and the park lends blocks for free. Dogs stay for £5 a night, with a maximum of two per pitch. The Mineral Tramways Coast-to-Coast cycle trail runs right alongside, so cyclists can ride from Portreath to Devoran without touching a road. Open 365 days a year with pitches from £25 a night, it's a proper all-seasons base for exploring west Cornwall.
