Golden Cap Holiday Park is a family holiday park on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, set in a quiet valley by the River Winniford just 150 yards from Seatown Beach. Run by West Dorset Leisure Holidays, the park sits below Golden Cap, the highest cliff on England's south coast, surrounded by 2,000 acres of National Trust land near the village of Chideock and about 3 miles from Bridport. The South West Coast Path runs past the entrance. Accommodation covers a lot of ground: hard base touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes, glamping in Jurassic Escape Pods, holiday caravans and lodges, and the 16 acre Big Berries camping meadow with 150 plus non electric pitches for tents and campervans. The camping meadow suits groups and families who want space and sea views, though it is a sloping field open only in high summer and has no electric hook up, so tourers wanting power should book a hard base pitch instead. On park you will find a SPAR shop, a fishing lake, a children's play area, a dog exercising meadow and, new for 2026, the Golden Cap Pizzeria. Dogs are welcome, but note Seatown Beach only allows them between October and April. The park runs across much of the year, with tent camping limited to mid July until the end of August.
