About this site

Pitches: 90 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 02/11 In the heart of the South Downs - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - is the Graffham Club Site. The pitches are surrounded by trees and, in the spring, there is a carpet of bluebells around the Site. Petworth town is a few miles to the north of the Site. It is known as the antiques centre of the south. The Cottage Museum is a typical estate workers dwelling from the beginning of the 20th century. The National Trust property of Petworth House has a 30-acre woodland garden. The estate was landscaped by Capability Brown in the 18th century. Amberley Working Museum has more than 30 buildings housing working craftspeople and exhibitions. Pulborough Brooks nature reserve is managed by the RSPB and is known for its water birds. Bignor Roman Villa has some of the best preserved Roman mosaics in the world. Iping and Stedham Common both have nature reserves. Lizards and adders bask here on hot days.
