About this site

Green Haven is a small, family-run touring park and fishing retreat beside a private carp lake at Friskney, on the A52 between Boston and Skegness. It sits roughly 9 miles from both Boston and the Skegness coast in flat, quiet Lincolnshire countryside. Pitches take caravans, motorhomes and tents on level ground with electric hook-ups, and three lakeside glamping pods (Barn Owl, Swallow and Wren) are there if you'd rather not bring your own. Once an adults-only site, Green Haven now welcomes children aged 10 and over, so it suits anglers, couples and older families after a calm break rather than groups with young children. The well-stocked lake holds carp to around 29lb along with bream and other species, and free fishing is included with some stays. An on-site shop covers the usual provisions plus fishing tackle, gifts and plenty of ice cream, and the owners can sort bacon sandwiches, homemade soup and hot drinks. Dogs are welcome, with one small dog allowed per pod. The Lincolnshire coast at Skegness is a short drive east when you fancy a beach day. Prices and availability are handled directly by owners Peter and Ailys Marples, so contact the park to book your pitch or pod.

Good to know

Is Green Haven adults-only?
No, Green Haven used to be an adults-only site but now welcomes children aged 10 and over. Children under 10 cannot stay, so the park keeps its quiet, relaxed feel and suits anglers, couples and older families rather than groups with toddlers.
Can you go fishing at Green Haven?
Yes, the park is built around a private, well-stocked lake holding carp up to around 29lb plus bream and other species. Free fishing is included with some stays, and the on-site shop sells fishing tackle if you need to top up your kit.
Are dogs allowed at Green Haven?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the touring pitches and in the glamping pods, though only one small dog is permitted per pod. Keep them under control near the lake and other guests, and bring what you need as larger shops are a drive away.
What types of pitch does Green Haven offer?
The touring park takes caravans, motorhomes and tents on level ground, all with electric hook-ups. If you'd rather not bring your own, three lakeside glamping pods (Barn Owl, Swallow and Wren) sleep two to three people, with the larger pod suited to a couple plus one older child.
How far is Green Haven from the coast?
The park sits at Friskney, just off the A52 roughly 9 miles from the beaches at Skegness and a similar distance from Boston. That makes it an easy base for a Lincolnshire coast day out while staying somewhere quieter than the seafront resorts.
Is there a shop on site?
Yes, Green Haven runs a shop stocking everyday provisions like milk, butter and eggs alongside fishing tackle, gifts and lots of ice cream. The owners can also serve light snacks, bacon sandwiches, homemade soup and hot drinks, which is handy given the rural setting.
