Greendales Caravan Park And Sands Touring Park

Greendales Caravan Park is a caravan park on Carr Lane at Middleton village, near Heysham and Morecambe, and it is mainly an owners' park rather than a place to turn up and pitch up for a weekend. Greendales sells annual pitch licences to people who keep their own static caravan on site: the standard licence runs a ten and a half month season starting on 1 November, the park closes fully between 2 January and the second Friday in February, and a full twelve month licence is available at extra cost. That makes it a poor fit if you want a one night stop. The touring side is a separate matter: Greendales has taken over the neighbouring Middleton Touring Park on the same lane, and at the time of writing that park has only a holding page, with reception on 01524 851915 handling all enquiries for it. Greendales also stores a limited number of touring caravans in a secure locked area on the park. The site is about 9 miles from junction 34 of the M6, roughly 20 minutes' drive, which puts Morecambe, Heysham and the Isle of Man ferry port close by, and Middleton Sands is the nearest stretch of coast. The park office is open seven days, 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm at weekends. Ring for current pitch fees, because the figures published on the park's own website are years out of date.
