Pitches: 175 Opening Dates: March To October Grouse Hill Camping and Caravan Park is situated within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and carries an AA 4 Pennant rating. You will find us along the A171 Whitby to Scarborough road - directly behind the Flask Inn. We are open from March to October Our camping and caravan park faces South over a wooded valley to folds of heather covered moorland which provides a natural amphitheatre locally known as Paradise. There is also a man-made lake and a woodland walks within the park. Established in 1978, our park is a tranquil, family run business which welcomes touring caravans, motor homes and tents. We also have Wigwams, a luxury holiday cottage and a static caravan for hire. The bustling seaside towns of Whitby (8 miles) and Scarborough - 12 miles are close by, as is the picturesque village, Robin Hoods Bay (5 miles). Situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park makes our caravan and camping park a prime location for the following outdoor activities: Walking - Including The Cleveland Way, the Coast To Coast and the Lyke Wake walk which are nearby. Cycling - Mountain Bikers are well catered for locally, whilst cycling along the old railway line offers spectacular views of the coastline. Fishing - Both fresh water and sea fishing are well catered for in the area. Exploring this beautiful countryside with its stunning coastline and quaint villages never disappoints our visitors. Mixed with the wonderful food and the warm welcome, this will make a holiday you will remember and is the reason why many people return year after year.
